We have had a good start to our Oceans Topic Board with some lovely pledges of what children will be doing in their community to reduce litter, reuse plastic items or reducing/find alternatives to single use plastic at home when buying items from the supermarket. These children have won themsleves a Litter Picker.

If you would like to win a litter picker off Mr Moore and Mrs Beasley you can for example bring in a poster of how people can reduce single use plastic at home, some facts about plastic and the affects on our oceans, countryside and animals, how we can look after our world better, a creative college picture using litter, some photos of your litter picking on the beach and recording what you find. You may have your own idea too. Each week Mr Moore and Mrs Beasley will choose some winners. Good Luck!

Here are some examples from last year.

  1. Ruben was so pleased with himself for winning a litter picker on Friday, after making his poster.
