We looked at rural life in the UK and Kenya and sorted different produce into the location we thought it had been grown in. We discussed what we had learnt about the different climates and how this affected what could be grown. The Dorset tea tricked many of us, as it was actually grown in Kenya! Then we tried lots of different fruit and vegetables grown in Kenya.
I’ve heard all about how the Dorset tea was only packaged in Dorset, but the leaves were grown in Kenya – who knew!
