Another video to recap what we have taught in school this week. Lots of children are remembering most of the phonemes and some are getting really good at blending. As it’s a two day week there won’t be a video next week but please do keep looking at the ‘Letters and Sounds’ book during half term as well as the videos so the learning doesn’t get forgotten during the break. We will then teach two more phonemes the first week back and spend the rest of the week doing some assessments to see how everyone is getting on.

You should have received a couple of letters on Friday so do check the book bag. One is an invitation to a Phonics and EEXAT workshop on Wednesday 3rd November either at 2.15 or 6pm depending what suits you. Please do return the slip to Mrs Hollingworth. We are very excited to be able to hold this in school!

  1. Thank you for these lovely videos! Rory loves doing his phonics and telling us what letters he’s been doing at school. Have a lovely half term.
