EDIT: How long can it take one teacher to upload a blog post? I wrote this on 19th December and couldn’t get it to upload! So Happy New Year from us too. Lovely to have almost a full class back.

We’ve had a bit of a time of it with chicken pox, colds, sickness and not to mention children awaiting test results. There was a happy half hour (yes that was it!) one Friday a fortnight ago where we had everyone in for the first time in weeks! Sadly we didn’t get a full class for our Echo photo so apologies if your child is missing through absence. We had days with 6 or 7 off and were holding out for everyone to return. In the end we just had to go with who was in. I’m not sure when the Echo is publishing them but last year it wasn’t until January. Whilst we had everyone gathered we also took a couple for the classroom. Your child might like to point out their friends…
I hope by now everyone has found the email sent on Friday after school with a link to our Christmas performance. I’ve had it on my TV this weekend and showed my family: I hope you love it too!

Awww lovely photo! So sad that Paige missed it, lovely to see them all together! We absolutely loved watching the Christmas performance, thank you so much for all the effort involved, they were little superstars and it was such a wonderful start to our Christmas ✨ It was mentioned on the blog at the time that some group photos were taken and would be uploaded, we would love to see these if possible ❤️ Hope you all had a wonderful and restful Christmas time. Thanks Loren! We all had a nice break thank you. I think Mrs H has photos so I’ll ask her to put them on here and hope she has more luck than me with posting! We’ll get a full class photo at some point in the year when everyone is well. Happy New Year to you too.

Thanks Carina; it’s a pleasure. Mrs Hollingworth must take most of the credit for the show as she did far more than me! I was so proud of them all when I watched it back.
