We would like your child to put together a poster showing wildflowers they have identified while on a local work, something in their garden, near their own home or selecting a certain wildflower. They need to draw and write some facts about what they have found. In return children will get a nature reward.
You could also draw a range of wildflowers and label them just like below possibly with a few facts. Obviously not picking them. This was done by a child from my class last year.
The Seek by iNaturualist is a really good app for your mobile to use to find out about wildflowers, insects, trees. It tells you what it is with some facts and where else you might find it in the world. It also pins on a map that you have found it where you are so others can see too.
You might also like to write some facts about a nature environmentalist like Sir David Attenborough, Steve Backshall, Dame Jane Goodall, Mya Rose Craig or someone else that has inspired you into nature.
Please can we have all posters or models by Monday 26th June.
