As part of our literacy work this half term we will be exploring what an engineer can do. To start our new unit of work we began by looking at bridges from all around the world, noticing shapes, design and structure. We then worked in teams of 3 to design and create our very own bridge using cardboard, paper straws and tape. We worked collaboratively and created some amazing structures, that amazingly, were all able to hold some weight! Well done Skipper 2.Here are our finished bridges which proudly stand on top of the cupboards in our classroom.
